Chick-fil-A is an American fast-food chain based in Atlanta, GA, whose signature chicken sandwiches were created specifically to nourish interns and residents who train in the Georgia area. A contract to work at a Georgia-based residency program contains a clause stating they "will be eating Chick-fil-A for breakfast, lunch, dinner everyday for, at minimum, the next 3 years of their lives with the exception of course of Sundays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas." A Chick-fil-A diet is meant to supplement, not replace, a graham cracker and coffee diet.[1][2][3] Alongside Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola is the official sponsor of fluid intake for Georgia's interns and residents.
