MRSA is one tough m**herf**ker of a bacteria. It's so serious that it represented by 4 letters all caps: MRSA. This is the REAL DEAL.
Risk Factors
The one and only risk factor is exposure to the devious MRSA spider named Cujo.[1]
Symptoms & Signs
Cujo the MRSA spider specifically attacks the antecubital fossa. As a result, any patient who presents with a spider bite in the antecubital fossa should be deemed a victim of Cujo.
Treatment
Vancomycin and Zosyn even though the Zosyn is not necessary. But one cannot break the bond of vancomycin and Zosyn and thus they must always be given together.
Prevention
Handwashing and hand dryers remain gold standards, as well as heeding the advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of avoiding all human interaction at all costs. Back in 2014, the state of New York attempted to outlaw MRSA in a state-wide preventative measure.[2] Unfortunately, Cujo the MRSA spider was not slowed down and continues to loom at large.
