Microwave
At home, a microwave is a kitchen appliance that reheats food and liquids. At work, a microwave is that ugly, box-shaped monstrosity in the nurses station or office that theoretically reheats food and liquids but hasn't been used for years because it smells like rotting carcasses. If you do use it, there are two outcomes: food remains cold or food becomes radioactive. The abysmal state of health care microwaves is one of the major reasons why medical personnel are dependent on delivery menus.[1] No one dares to use the hospital microwave.
