AAOx4

AAOx4 is shorthand for awake, alert, and oriented to person, place, time, and event. It is used to describe a doctor, nurse, any health care provider who has woken up and had their coffee. It is common knowledge that no health care provider is AAOx4 until about 4 hours into their day.[1][2]
