The kitchen sink is a form of last resort medical treatment that includes a "respirator, hemodialysis, ECMO, continuous platelet transfusions, insulin pump, IVIG infusion, steroids, Lasix, 3 pressors, 4 antibiotics, 2 antifungals, chemotherapy, ultrasound, MRI, CT imaging, Foley catheter, artificial intelligence, limb regenerator, continuous EEG monitoring, chest tubes, drains, garbage disposal, and an actual kitchen sink with hot and cold running water."[1] The kitchen sink may occasionally have a cat or some other small animal in it.
