A stapler is an inanimate object found at the nurses station that can not only join pieces of paper together by driving a staple through them, but also is a great thing to yell at in frustration when no one else is around, but you need to yell and all you can focus your anger on is a stapler because, damn it, working in health care is hard and sometimes you just need to scream.
