A measure cited as a more critical than door-to-balloon time, the new door-to-Dilaudid time (or DDT) is an important adjunct to the patient satisfaction survey, with a goal door-to-Dilaudid time of 90 seconds or less.[1] As long as patients are happy, we shouldn't worry about unnecessary consequences like the opioid epidemic or opioid-related deaths.[2][3][4]
