Black Fleece

The black fleece jacket is replacing the white coat, becoming the new symbol of a graduating medical student's transition into residency.[1] Black fleeces not only provides warmth to cold-blood surgeons and helps them survive the harsh, bitter climate of operating rooms, it also has the advantage of hiding bloodstains and other bodily fluids better than white coats. The main disadvantage is that they can cause black fleece hypertension.
