Originally created by Nova Game Designs in 1981, the board game Axis & Allies is considered one of the greatest board games of all times. In it, players play as each of the major powers of the HPA axis: the hypothalamus, the pituitary, or the adrenals.
Primary Objective
Homeostasis.
Secondary Objective
Defeat the Nazis.[1]
Future Directions
A new edition of Axis & Allies is in the works, this time focusing on Einthoven's triangle and ECG leads. Rumor is that the two dueling superpowers will be cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery.
