An executive order (or EO) is a rule or order by the President of the United States that has the force of law, though are subject to judicial review and may be struck down.
Executive Orders Under Donald Trump
- On January 30, 2017, President Trump issued an executive order to limit the usage of emergency rooms around the nation by telling people with a cold to stay home while at the same time reminding them to get their flu shot.[1] This is the first executive order to be considered a win for health care professionals.
